[Droid Man]

I will post a review and unboxing sometime this week.  I should have my phone on Tuesday.  Who else has one and what do you think so far?

I've had my Motorola Droid since last Tuesday, 11/3/09(VCC), and so far, this has been the best mobile device that I've ever used.  This includes all regular cellphones, and smartphones, including Iphone 3GS, Blackberry Bold, Blackberry Bold9700, Blackberry Tour, Blackberry Storm2, HTC Touch Pro, Palm Pre, and many others.  However, as a primarily work/business phone, I'd go with a blackberry.  For anything else, The Droid has sooo many useful features, and thousands upon thousands of useful apps.  The phone is so fast in every way, and the battery is great, when the settings are optimized.  The Google Voice Search is simply amazing, as is the super large, super high resolution touchscreen.

I got mine last night and I agree with you.  I couldn't put it down and messed around with it for hours before finally putting it down to go to bed.  I will post a review sometime this week and maybe a video walk through this weekend.

I have mine and for the most part love it.  The navigation is awesome.  I love that you can add the satellite overlay while you are navigating so you can see where you are going.  I have found that the browser doesn't behave well on some sites but by and large it's a great device.

So far so good.  I do have to say the battery life numbers published are way off.  I can see if you used this device only as a phone you may get great battery life, but come on who will use this beast only as a phone.  As a data device I find I have to charge it twice a day with a "normal" amount of surfing and usage.  Overall I am very impressed.  Such a great device with tons of great apps.

I've had my moto droid for a week and love it! The nav app blew me away.Who needs a garmin now. The only down fall is the battery life. I've had to charge it twice a day. but I just watch the youtube video and have changed some of my wifi, nav and email  settings so I hope this will help

In two words: simply awesome.  I have had it for a while and I love it!  All of the apps in the market, the call clarity, they battery life all make it not only a great phone but an awesome data device.

What a great phone!  So far it has been all I have hope for and I haven't had a single issue with the phone.  Great call quality and all of the data features and functions make this a great all around smart phone.  I am very happy I made the jump to Droid!

 ;DI have my DROID about a week and I love it! This is my first smartphone, my last fone was a RAZR V3xx.  It took a few days to get accustomed to using the DROID but I am impressed by the versatility of it.  I am using "Hey You" from "The Wall" as a ring tone.  So far I have read my "Gmail", my Comcast mail and daily comics.  I interface my Facebook page, texted (very fast) and sent and recvd multimedia.  I find using the virtual keyboard easier than the real keyboard.  I think that is because it is faster to get to than turning and exposing the real keyboard.  I will try using that more often  and compare the ease of use.

The Droid is most impressive.  There are so many features, tons of apps, and the GPS simply rocks.  It works as well as a ceel phone as any phone I have ever had.  Just an awesome device.
