Google Apps Account
« on: March 03, 2010, 02:35:57 PM »
I do not own a Droid at this time, but have been researching getting one.  I read that as soon as you get the phone, part of the setup is typing in your Gmail account settings.  My question is this:  if I have ported my email over to Google Apps, can I type in that email address or does the Droid force a gmail.com address?  I assume that if I can use my Google Apps email account, then all of the syncing will work?  Contacts / Calendar?

Thank you for any light that anyone can shed on this for me!

Hello Chris and welcome to droidboards.
I have 1 Gmail account and 4 accounts with Google Apps and all of them work very well on the Droid.  I have them all set to sync and I haven't had a single issue.  I sync my Calendar and Contacts on all of the accounts.
