Problem with the accelerometer?
« on: December 04, 2009, 04:59:19 PM »
Has anybody else noticed that if you don't hold you phone at a 90 degree vertical angle while in portrait mode the phone won't switch to landscape mode when you rotate it?  I find myself having to move the phone back to portrait mode, hold it at a 90 degree angle then rotate back to landscape.  Kind of a pain.

Mow that you have mentioned it I have noticed the same issue.  I wonder if they will have a firmware fix for this or they will say it's functioning as designed.  I know it's a bit of a pain at times.  I guess I will just have to get used to holding the phone "properly". :P

I have noticed that too.  It is a pain but I guess I just got used to holding the phone at 90 degrees.  Maybe it will be fixed soon.
